as an NGO in official relation with WHO, IFHIMA is involved in different projects, such as for example, the WHO Education Implementation Committee of International Classifications.
In this context we received the following WHO “Call for Expressions of Interest for the assessment of WHO’s ICD revision process”.
In brief, WHO is seeking for a contractor (e.g. a consultant company) that will conduct an interim assessment of the 11th version of ICD that is in the development status
and will also analyze the relevance and effectiveness of the planned features of ICD 11 in meeting the needs of the key stakeholders in WHO Member States.

We would like to draw your attention to the attached call for Expressions of Interest for the assessment of WHO’s revision process for the International Classification of Diseases (ICD). This request for Expressions of Interest is to solicit an interim assessment of the ICD Revision Process, which is independent, impartial and objective. The assessment would address goals, content, process, and progress of the work to date, and could lead to recommendations to stop, revise, eliminate, replace, maintain, or further strengthen different aspects of WHO’s ICD Revision Process.
Expressions of interest must be submitted to email@example.com on or before 31 July 2014 in order to be considered.
